MODRACK is a range of Rack Extensions for the Reason Studio’s flagship DAW, Reason

Based on real world physical Modular Synthesis, the MODRACK range provides free of charge, basic synthesis modules to allow the Reason user to experiment with modular synthesis.

MODRACK VCO

The MODRACK VCO Rack Extension for ReasonStudios Reason is a basic Voltage Controlled Oscillator module.

It features the following:

• Simultaneous Sine, Triangle, Sawtooth and Square waveforms.
• Analogue (wavetable based) or Digital signal switch.
• Oversample switch (CPU intensive).
• Follow MIDI in or self oscillating switch.
• CV inputs for Pulse Width and Pitch
• AU inputs for FM and Oscillator Sync

MODRACK VCA

The MODRACK VCA Rack Extension for ReasonStudios Reason is a basic Voltage Controlled Amplifier module.

It features the following:

• Exponential and Linear Audio and CV inputs

MODRACK VCF

The MODRACK VCF Rack Extension for ReasonStudios Reason is a basic Voltage Controlled Filter module that models a 4-pole transistor ladder filter with saturation at each stage.

It features the following:

• Audio IN
• LPF and HPF Audio OUT
• Frequency, Resonance and Drive Audio and CV inputs

MODRACK LFO

The MODRACK LFO Rack Extension for ReasonStudios Reason is a basic Low Frequency Oscillator module.

It features the following:

MODRACK NOISE

The MODRACK NOISE Rack Extension for ReasonStudios Reason is a basic Noise generator with 7 colors

It features the following:

• White Noise (equal power density)
• Pink Noise (-3dB/oct)
• Red Noise (-6dB/oct)
• Violet/Purple Noise (6dB/oct)
• Blue Noise (3dB/oct)
• Green Noise (mid-frequency component of white noise centre frequency of @500Hz)
• Black Noise (uniform noise)
